RiseBoro Community Housing

For the senior residents of 37 Hillside Apartments, the rooftop is more than just a roof, it’s a sanctuary! Adaptive Green designed and installed an accessible green roof that serves as the heart of this community-centered, sustainable development.

This tranquil space was created specifically to enhance the well-being of its senior residents. It offers a safe and beautiful setting to combat loneliness, providing opportunities for social interaction, gentle activity, and a restorative connection to nature right outside their door.

This project perfectly aligns with the Riseboro mission by putting residents’ health first. In collaboration with NYSERDA, our green roof works alongside other eco-friendly systems to reduce the building’s environmental impact, creating a home that is as healthy for the planet as it is for the people who live there.
