Marymount School

Adaptive Green is proud to highlight our role in the green roof project at the Marymount School of New York. This intensive green roof features a diverse selection of plants and deep soil, transforming the terrace into a lush, functional space that enhances the building’s sustainability. The new LEED Gold school building, located on East 97th Street, rises ten stories to accommodate the Upper Middle and Upper Schools, all while preserving the institution’s rich heritage. Thoughtfully designed exterior setbacks create outdoor gardens for students, providing peaceful areas for study and reflection, while the rooftop gardens serve as versatile spaces for education and events.
